UX Design & Strategy

I am a UX Designer and Strategy Enthusiast living in Vancouver, Canada.

I have a Bachelor of Art in Design from the School of Interactive Arts & Technology and 3 years of experience working with tech industry leaders such as Safe Software and SAP.

Career Journey

My career started with an internship position at Safe Software. This internship ended with a full-time offer in only 4 months. As the only designer in the company, I felt the need of working in a design team where I could find the mentorship I needed.

The next chapter of my career started in SAP, where I was hired for 8 months of co-op. With only a few courses of my school left, I accepted the full-time offer after working 6 months on SAP BusinessObjects Lumira.

I enjoy the challenge of finding strategic solutions and thrive in opportunities where I have ownership to manage projects from ideation through to execution.

UX Design

My background in Civil Engineering gives me a scientific mindset, which enables me to collaborate with developers best. When I started school, I developed a sensitivity to design and empathy for users. Since then, I've been passionate about creating engaging experiences that connect with audiences in a genuine way.

My process always involves asking a series of questions regarding the following UX principles:

  • Beauty
  • Accessibility
  • Simplicity
  • Intuitiveness
  • Consistency

Delivering a product that is aesthetically pleasant, reduces the user's workload, has a clear functionality and provides a consistent behavior, has always been my ultimate goal.

In my current role, I have been involved at any stage of the process from Research and gathering the present state, Structure setup, Concept and Strategy to Creating, evaluating and iterating deliverables such as personas, site maps, use cases and user stories, sketches and wireframes and prototypes.
